Ubisoft wants to focus on the great franchises

These weeks the big companies come together to discuss the outlook for the coming fiscal year and now it's Ubisoft's turn. Thus, the most important thing that could be drawn from their meeting again is that focus on games for the major platforms, Xbox 360 and PS3, and leave aside some production for DS.

And is that, given the figures of last year, which have worked best for them are strong titles. The casual franchises have not finished booting up, and also is true that there have been bad figures expected successful titles, such as adaptation of the blockbuster video game avatar.

Thus, in the 2010-11 fiscal year Ubisoft will focus on its most popular franchises, including features for Splinter Cell (which has been delayed), Ghost Recon and Prince of Persia, plus the new "episode" Assassin's Creed (and possible third) and new games in the series and Driver Rabbids, though the latter have yet to detail.

Regarding figures Ubisoft wants to reach EUR 1,040 million when the fiscal year ends on 31 March 2010.
